Charles Russell look at the impact of the recent immigration rules and explore practical ways in which businesses can manage expatriates from outside the EU. PwC reflect on EU Social Security changes taking effect in May 2010 which determines how internationally mobile workers will be treated for social security purposes within the EU, EEA and Switzerland.

*EU social security changes that take effect from May 2010 that represent the European Community's first major change in 38 years to the rules that determine how internationally mobile workers will be treated for social security purposes across the 27 countries of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, together comprising the European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland
