Description
During a turbulent time in the financial markets City HR provided series of events on Employee Wellbeing. Our February Member Forum followed on from this by exploring what HR can do to manage employee stress and health during difficult times.
Jane Mann, Partner, Fox Williams, firstly outlined the legal position and considered the implications for HR in exercising its duty of care toward employees, therefore hopefully minimising costly stress claims.
Merran Barber, Senior Ergonomic Physiotherapist, General Medical Clinics Plc developed the theme in her presentation where she talked about identifying the signs of stress and explaining how HR and line management can spot this and effectively handle individual cases.
Networking over drinks and canapés concluded the evening, where members had an opportunity to speak to a doctor was present from General Medical Clinics about any specific concerns or questions relating to Occupational Health.
