Projects

City HR is constantly working on HR and market issues and welcomes member involvement. Being a not-for-profit organisation, City HR is fortunate to receive external input from leading specialists.

Our key projects are:

  1. Diversity - a Joint Symposium with the EHRC and the FSA on International Women's Day - 8 March 2012
  2. Helping our members to prepare for London during 2012, particularly the Queen's Diarmond Jubilee and the Olympics. Our HR best practice guide is available from the office.
  3. Corporate Social Responsibility, as we continue our commitment to support three key projects in the City. We have agreed to support the City Opportunities Programme (an outreach programme for young people in care to enhance their aspirations for either further education or City employment) during February, June and July.
  4. Ethics, Trust and Integrity - providing the HR expertise to a wider City cross-party initiative to identify core and gold standards and to build employer toolkits to facilitate best practice.
  5. Legal, Policy and Government Consultation to provide a voice for the benefit of our members.
