Projects
City HR is constantly working on HR and market issues and welcomes member involvement. Being a not-for-profit organisation, City HR is fortunate to receive external input from leading specialists.
The projects in progress at present are:
- The diversity agenda – a member survey and feedback on the equality bill and the status of diversity initiatives at various City organisations. City HR at the EHRC Roundtable on 15 October 2009 to hear and talk about results of the Financial Services Inquiry on the gender pay gap.
- City reward and regulation – a symposium to understand the views of diverse City organisations and guidance on what to expect from the FSA and other bodies with regard to regulation and governance. Please see events
- Working through cancer – supporting Macmillan Cancer to promote their excellent help guides for employers individuals, carers and who are working through cancer.
- The development of a pro-forma London 2012 – Olympic Games Policy, which organisations can download and adapt to their own purposes, will be available from January 2010.
