Meet the Team

Andrea Eccles,
Director, City HR
As leader of the City HR team, Andrea is responsible for the implementation of City HR strategy, operations and events. Prior to joining City HR in 2007, Andrea founded a leading HR consulting firm, Quantum VarCity, which merged with Fairplace Consulting plc, where she was co-Managing Director. She previously spent almost 10 years in various HR roles at Chase and started her career in expatriate management in Citibank.
Andrea is responsible for managing all member activities including events, conferences, HR benchmarking, HR services and member careers advice.

Sam Bailey,
Group Development Assistant, City HR
Sam has been working at City HR for the last 5 years, and has 10 years experience working in HR related services. Sam previously worked for Fairplace Consulting Plc. as a PA and has had various secretarial and office managerial roles throughout her career. Sam is also a Blue Badge Guide and can often be found leading a group of students across the City in her spare time!
Sam is responsible for event co-ordination as well as member liaison and management of the City HR office.

Naomi Manning,
Group Development Assistant, City HR
Naomi has been with the Association for 3 years and has been involved in HR related services for 6 years. Naomi’s previous roles include recruiting senior legal staff as a recruitment consultant for 3 years, as well as PA and office management roles. Naomi knew she was bound to end up in HR after having completed work experience at Hewlett Packard in their HR department at age 14!
Naomi is responsible for event organisation and general administration for the City HR office. She will be on sabbatical for 6 months from November 2009.

Charlotte Hardy,
Temporary Group Development Assistant, City HR
Charlotte previously worked at the Association during 2005-06 and competently assisted in the day to day running of the office as well as assisting with events and training administration. Charlotte has a BSc (Batchelor of Social Science) 2.1 degree in the faculty of Humanities – Criminology and Social Policy and she is currently studying for an MA in Occupational Therapy. During her studies Charlotte has often helped out with City HR events including the last three City HR conferences.
Charlotte will be taking on Naomi’s responsibilities as she embarks on her travels to Central America.
